Hi Girls!
Another poster mentioned how annoying the knot tv videos are that appear at the top of the webpage are. I agree- can't stand them! Plus, I have a little netbook, and it takes up too much of my screen... well, you are in luck, because there is a way to get rid of the videos. I posted it in reply to an earlier post, but thought I would re-post it separately, in case some knotties missed it.

There is a way you can avoid looking at the videos... Here is what you do:
If I go to the Columbus board of the knot, this is what the address says:
http://forums.theknot.com/default.aspx?path=http://forums.theknot.com/Sites/theknot/Pages/Main.aspx/local-wedding-boards_ohio-columbusNow, to make the video go away, you can do 2 things:
First, on your webpage right click on the Ohio-Columbus part of Community /> Local Wedding Boards /> Ohio-
Columbus. Open this link in a new tab, and it will be the local message board with no video. Bookmark this link, and the video will never be there.
Another way to get to this page is if you take out some of the web address. From the link above, take out everything before the 2nd http, which would be
http://forums.theknot.com/default.aspx?path= . This takes you to the Columbus message board with no video. Yay!
Both of these methods can be used for any boards on the knot - either take out the stuff before the 2nd http or open the specific message board again in its own tab. It is SO NICE to not have those stupid videos! Let me know if this post is confusing, I will try to reexplain!
