Accountabilty - Monday

How was your weekend ladies? Mine was UBER busy, lots of running around with my adorable little niece (that counts as working out right? lol). Things are finally slowly falling back in place, so starting tonight I am getting back on track with my workouts! I hope.... if not then tomorrow morning!

Anyone have any big goals this week?

  • My goal is to keep up the good work! I've really cut back on my sweets/gluten and I feel much better (other than today seeing as we had chinese food take out for mother's day). My workouts are great and all this awesome weather makes it even easier to be even more active! Love the sunshine!

  • We won't talk about my weekend taking a roadtrip to see the FILs in Orlando. On the road makes for little time/energy to workout or good eating choices.  So my "big" goal for the week is to just get back on track and catch up on sleep which for me is a big determinant if I actually workout and eat right (I don't function well on little sleep).  Also, when hanging out with FI's family friends over the weekend, we think we may have discovered that FI has a wheat allergy.  He has always had eczema that flairs at times.  FI has noticed especially when we drink beer it flairs (we assumed dehydration) and that he feels really uncomfortable/bloaty (we thought just an aging metabolism thing).  His family friends were saying their 13 year old has eczema and wheat makes it worse.  They also recommended a vitamin that is supposed to help all sorts of skin conditions (including acne so I may start taking it too for my break outs once I do some research on it).  We are going shopping tonight and going to cut out wheat in his diet to see if it helps.  This mean I'll be cutting back on it as well which helps me lean out. 
  • I had a busy weekend at my parents house so I didn't get a chance to exercise. 

    My dress came in last week and I picked it up on Friday.  It fit perfectly, everywhere except for my hips.  It was really snug and it's a mermaid gown so it made it a little uncomfortable to walk in.  My first fitting for alterations is in July, I'd love to only have to get it hemmed. Sigh.  I've gotta start working out better.  Next month I'm definitely joining the accountability partners!

  • I feel like there aren't enough hours in the day! So I tell myself I will get up early to run...then my alarm goes off and all bets are off. I reset the clock and get up at my regular time. FAIL!
