    Mags, not my first choice either. But he's had it for almost 2 years, why change it?

    He actually belongs to FI's friend. They have 3 kids under the age of 5, and they just don't feel like they're giving him the attention he deserves. Normally I don't agree w/ getting rid of a pet because of kids, but friend's wife (SAHM) has got her hands full.
