October 2012 Weddings

CRAP! I totally forgot!

In the midst of all of this wedding madness, I just realized something: I haven't even yet started practicing my signature with my new last name!  Oops! :p  I guess I'm not legally changing it until I get back and probably won't do right away.  Going to give myself some time to catch my breath.  Sooo...I don't have to start signing it until after I legally change right?  So hopefully that buys me some time to practice.  Lol.  Anyone else forget to start doing this too?!

I'm such a scatterbrained mess right now....in about 30 min, I will be in the single digits!  No more wedding planning!  Yay!

  • I thought the same thing yesterday!  Oops, there will be lots of time to practice.  :)

  • I know here in MI, I have to sign my new name on the marriage license, so I've got to give myself some practice time.  Still I sign my name so much, I'm worried about getting confused.  I wish I could do a "clean break" but I know that legally, that doesn't work so well.
  • I've been engaged 4 years.  Guess I've found some time to start practicing, haha.  But I'm not changing it for awhile.

  • I have not practiced at all!  And while I do not sign my name that often I do have to attach my initials daily to filing, I should have atleast practiced that!

  • I guess I'm lucky in this acspect since we are not getting legally married just yet. I'll have the next year or so to practice.

  • I actually thought about this at the grocery store the other day, signing on the little electronic thing... my signature (at least on those) is so messy, maybe I won't even change it! But on paper, it's legible, so I guess I'll start practicing. After the wedding. I'm still a little sad to change my name.
