Marriage License

I know I've seen other posts regarding this, sorry for the repeat.  I was just wondering what is needed to get your marriage license?  drivers license? birth certificate? social security card?

I'm suppose to go today but I definitely didn't bring everything I think I need with me?!?!

    You need your priest / JOP's name and phone number, that was the one thing I forgot!

    This website lists it pretty clearly. Just remember both you and your FI need to go.

    ID and Residency Requirements:

    Connecticut law requires that you present photo id such as a driver's license or a passport. You also need to know the following:
    • Your social security numbers
    • Your mother's maiden name.
    • Your parents' birthplaces.
    • Date and location of your wedding.
    • Name and contact info of your wedding officiant.

    FYI, all the information you need for your marriage license should be on your birth certificates, if you were both born in the US. (Except for the officiant's info, of course.)
