DJ /ceremony music

I really like this one DJ company that I saw at a Bridal Expo but there pricey we would only be able to really afford them for cocktail hr through reception so I was curious

for the ceremony did you or will you use your DJ or have a different musical setup? our ceremony is on the beach (provided weather holds up) and reception as well as cocktail hr will be in completely different area ... not really sure what to do here?

Definitely check out Kenny Mondo. The prices are absolutely amazing. They're doing my ceremony, cocktail hr & reception for a steal of a price!!

They have different DJ's that you can interview to see who fits you best!

We used Eddie b .... He is doing ceremony and reception and were having a steel drum for cocktail that is from his company as well ....

ahaha!!! seriously there the ones I'm considering lol but there sooo kind of out of my price range but one thing on there web site that sticks out to me is how music plays a big role in the reception so I'd be willing to stretch it but all depends on what they can offer. For now I just got regular info I havent actually spoken to them :\

Im using Rockwithu Entertainment.... Music is a HUGH importance to both of us.... I am not sure what your price range is so, I figured I would mention them. We are doing Fusion, which is a DJ with Live musicians. It will bring in the latin flair.... I highly Recommend them. Good luck..... Kel

I am using MB Entertainment. Mike has been awesome...Kenny Mondo's dj stood us up when we had an appointment and we traveled all the way from South Broward to meet him...When we called while standing in the tux place that he uses for meetings he basically told my FI oh well...

Can someone give me an idea of price range for a DJ for budgeting?
We have a similiar setup at mentioned above with ceremony on the beach in one area and then cocktail hour and reception in a different area.

We are also getting married on the beach. Our venue provides battery operated sound and could hook up an ipod but decided to pay our DJ (Vision DJs) for the extra 50 or 75 for the hour to help set up the play list and push play so I didn't have to stress about timing. Our package included cocktail and reception. They also mentioned they would try to get a battery operted back up speaker for us, which was above and beyond what others were able to do. MB entertainment was also in our price range. Mike was very nice, just clicked with our DJ a little better (DJ Jorge). Fusion by Rock With You was great too- just out of our budget. You have a lot of great options!

I recommend Eddie B as well. Definitely call him. I also interviewed Jorge A at Vision DJ's, we liked him a lot, and was more affordable than Eddie B. We ended up booking Marc with Eddie B and Co. We just clicked better with them.

we are using bob lyons for steel drum during ceremony/cocktail hour & then vision djs (jorge a) for reception... vision is very affordable & so is bob!!
