I went to the post office to get one invitation weighed, for the second time to double check on the postage cost. The first time, it was going to cost $0.44 per invitation to mail, as long as I added nothing. Well, nothing was added and this time, it's 1.10 ounces, but he weighed it again and it was 1 ounce. I don't know what was going on with the scale. Because of the first weigh-in weeks ago, I already purchased a lot of stamps. Now I am worried that I brought the wrong ones, or did I buy the right ones? I have already spent a lot of money on postage and worried of buying so much more money worth if it turns out I didn't have to. With the response card, there is a flap on the card that is in the envelope (I imagine to keep response card in place), I hope you know what I mean by that. Do you think I should get rid of flap all together or half of it and just place card under the envelope flap? What suggestions do you have to keep the invitation at a $0.44 cost instead of a $0.61 cost?. I have NO other inserts besides the RSVP card.
I can really use anyone's help!!
Thanks Christina
