I'm so tired of answering questions about the bus transportation for guests lately. How hard is it to comprehend that it is picking up everyone at 430 sharp at the hotel going to the church then to reception and then taking two runs at the end of the night. It is going nowhere else people and not doubling back anywhere! Wtf and just book your rooms it isn't that hard.

Found out my FMIL is telling our photographer pictures that she wants done that don't even have me or my FI involved. Pictures of her hands with FI's dads hands and their grandchildrens hands? Wtf.

The sun is out today and I'm leaving work early to run errands and meet with our priest, so it's hard to be in a bad mood.

I had lunch with my MOH yesterday and she said she's really happy in her new marriage but i know her better than she knows herself and I could tell she was lying. She had tears in her eyes almost the whole time.

I feel so bad because I don't know what I can do for her. She moved out of state and away from her friends and family so her new husband can be closer to his job/friends/family. I really like the guy but I feel like he doesn't treat her the way she really deserves. He's also 7 years younger than her and still very immature.

Hopefully they work it out somehow....

I have had a migraine every day for the last week (almost week and a half now). And my meds aren't working. I'm pretty sure its just stress but I can't take this much longer. Oh and I haven't time to call the dr. about it because I'm either working, wedding planning, or curled up in a ball in a dark room under a blanket.

Also, Why is no one RSVPing??? I still have 128 people who haven't responded. Almost the entire bridal party, in fact, all of those who aren't related to us, haven't RSVPd. I was eating lunch yesterday, talking to a girl who is invited. We were talking about how frustrated she was that no one RSVPd to her daughters party over the weekend. She hasn't RSVPd! UGH people get your act together, how hard is it to check a box and put the damn card in the mailbox.

I'm just annoyed to be at work right now. I had a four day weekend and it was amazing and productive, but it was just so hard to come back to reality today. I can't wait for 5:30 to come.

Thank You! I'm glad I'm not going crazy. My FI doesn't see why it upsets me. I thought maybe it's just my FMIL. She's done things in the past that I can't seem to get over, and now everything she does bothers me. So I was thinking maybe I'm over reacting.
Plus, the only "hands" pictures at weddings I've seen are the bride and groom showing off their rings.

I don't know what's going on with FMILs lately! The only stress in this planning is that woman

I usually get along amazingly well with my FMIL, but lately she's just beeng doing the weirdest things, especially wedding related. She is really starting to drive me nuts, so you are def not alone! I hope she goes back to her normal sensable self after this wedding.

I need this today. I have three major ones.

1. FMIL is FREAKING OUT about why we haven't sent out rehearsal dinner invites yet. I don't understand why she is spazzing about it - most of the bridal party and the family that we are inviting to the rehearsal haven't even RSVPd to the wedding yet. She is insisting on seeing us this week so "she can just take care of the envelope addressing since we have been putting it off and she just wants to get it done." WTF WOMAN I AM GOING TO DO IT it's just too early gosh darn it!!

2. where the hell has all my time gone?!?!? How are fiance and I supposed to work full time jobs, stay healthy, take care of ourselves, pack up two apartments worth of crap, move to a new home, decorate and take care of a new home, plan a wedding, and do all the annoying stuff we have to do in day to day life? I seriously feel like I don't even have a spare moment and that I won't be able to relax until I am on the beach on our honeymoon.

3. and fiance's bachelor party is on Saturday and I am worried about his health. His boys are C R A Z Y and used to play this game in college called "let's make butterfly's fiance throw up". And they were good at it. It usually involved shotgunning beers and taking shots of cheap vodkas and I think they are planning to re-enact it on Saturday. I trust my fiance, I just seriously am worried about him getting too sick and not being taken care of. I got really good at taking care of him when this happened in college, but when I am not going to be with him, I worry. I know I sound like a crazy fiance, but I can't help it. I keep imagining him wandering off into the woods (they are going cabrewing and camping) and getting sick and no one being able to find him. Ugh.

OH one more - my bridal shop ordered me an extra yard of matching fabric for my dress so my seamstress could make a one-shoulder strap to add on to my dress. this was absolutely crucial to me. I do not like strapless dresses on me, I am not comfortable in strapless, and my fiance loves one-shoulder dresses. hence my reason for doing this. My dress came in over a month ago - the end of April. I was told the fabric would be in within a week or two. STILL NO FREAKIN FABRIC. I talked to the manager of the bridal shop two days ago and she promised she would call the designer and figure out what happened with the fabric and that she would call me back. Still nothing. I am freaking out. I will NOT be happy with my dress unless I get this strap made, and without the fabric, it will not be possible, and we are starting to get to crunch time here. I am not sure what else I can do at this point and it is starting to make my stomach hurt.

I really shouldn't have any WTF since I'm not working but....

I am sunburnt- I got burned on Monday and I'm still hurting!! I'm trying to avoid the sun until I feel better!

Yesterday we got new couches from my parents as our wedding gift- they're HUGE, we couldn't believe it! So we ran off and bought a new TV. Now I'm not too sure if we did the right thing. The TV is 55" and it's just HUGE (but hey it goes well with the couches!). Tell me it's perfectly okay to replace our 32" tv that was in the living room before. Please.

butterfly - What's with guys and wanting to get each other completely shitfaced? My FI's last adventure at a bachelor partying (he was the best man) ended up with him walking 3 miles alone through the bowels of Atlantic City with $5000 cash in his pocket. AWESOME.

mekiakoo - 55 is for sure reasonable. you could have gone bigger even! haha. it sounds like an amazing TV - and what an awesome gift from your parents!!

k8888 - OMG you just made me even more nervous, hahaha! I am glad your fiance survived that walk, why in the world did he have that much cash with him???? Why are boys so DUMB??? At bachelorette parties I go to, we always try to marathon out our drinking so we can drink for 12 + hours. Boys are just like OMG ALCOHOLZZZZ and then they pass out two hours later.

Everyone at the party chipped in money and gave it to my FI at the same time that night so he had nowhere to put it until later in the evening.

I'm sure your FI will be just fine... camping and outdoor activities always makes boys sleepy so they'll probably pass out way sooner than they want to. :)

Butterfly... Your 2 I swear to god is me. I thought it would get better when I was done with school for the semester but NOOOOO! We close on our house And take immediate possession next Friday, and we are no where near ready!!!! Fi works for a nuclear power plant and they are in an "outtage" where they shut everything down and do check and refuel and whatever. Well he went from working Monday thru Friday 63 to SundaySunday with varried hours, some days nights, sometimes days sometimes both, for a whole month. We are in the last week but I'm sick of it! We can't do anything house or wedding related because anytime we make plans to he gets called in. Just glad it's almost over. Fmil drives me nuts too! Its so nice to know I'm not being a crazy btch nd other people want to strangle theirs too. It's really not that bad, but long story short, she is paying for nothing and has a fing opinion about anything and everything, usually polar opposite from mine. Whatev... I'll be glad when planning is over and I'm happily married and on my honeymoon ha ha!!! Have a better Wednesday girls!

Well, in my world, you don't. Which is why I am sitting at my office with a fever with my boss screaming at me for not staying "later" (I stayed till 430am for the past two nights, was here till midnight on Sunday and 11 on Saturday) to get something done for him. Oh, and I was here at 8am despite literally being sick in the bathroom all morning. So, yeah. No. My job is making me literally sick.

Butterfly: what designer did they order fabric from?

FYI - on my experience with Alfred Angelo.... I had ordered fabric to match the bridesmaid dress to have a tie made for FI and fabric to match my dress for the corset back.... It took FOREVER............. the corset fabric just came in last week - we ordered it in FEB when my dress came in. The tie fabric we ordered in October - it didn't come in until March!

Maybe you could reach out to them yourself - appeal to them on facebook, twitter, linkedin, etc. The Alfred Angelo store told me that fabric orders are the "lowest of low" on the priority list and if they get a bunch of "rush" orders for dresses - they go first, even if your order came in way before. I hope you get it soon.

Despite the fact that people aer traveling several hours to come to it to spend time with me. And despite the fact that I told my boss about this date 4 months ago. Aww B2B - that sucks! The same thing happened with my shower/bach where I found out the week of that my boss wanted me to work that weekend even though I said I had wedding things I had to do. I hate feeling like I have to "request" weekends off. I wish I was paid by the hour, I would have so much more money.

My boss didn't end up making me work that weekend in the end, though, so I hope that happens for you, too! Hope you feel better!

Bridetobe - You poor thing, you sound extremely overworked :-( I can't imagine working that late/early in the morning while being sick. I'm so excited for your bridal shower this weekend though!

Butterfly - I don't know how some of you are buying a house/moving/planning a wedding at the same time. FI and I started to look at houses, but decided we are gong to wait until after the wedding craziness before we place offers. I can't even imagine having that all on my plate. I hope your fabric comes in soon, that would totally be stressing me out too!

Ugh, FMIL is pissing me off too. I have the seating chart all done. I asked her who she wanted at her table, and now she's totally changing her mind and starts spouting off who on FI's side should sit together now too.. It took me sooo long to get that chart done!

My WTF is minor- our house is a wreck because we're trying to put away all of the shower presents. It requires reshuffling our belongings and I don't like how disorganized it all is right now. Love the new stuff but hate sorting through the old.

FutureMrs, your FMIL sounds crazy. Is she paying for the photographer AT all?? Photos are the most important part of the wedding- I LOVE photos and I'd be pissed if somebody tried to take over.

Haha everybody, it was an implusive buy last night. I never thought we'd own a big tv! Apparently it's not big enough (K888)! The closed captions are ridiculously huge, we almost have to turn our heads left to right to read the entire thing!

Thanks, guys. Yeah - Believe me, if the market for lawyers wasn't so oversaturated I would quit in a heartbeat. I can't quit because I wouldn't be able to find another job, but I can't continue doing this. Just another reason we're going to move in less than a year . . .

Mekiakoo, I am billing anywhere between 15-18 hours per day, sometimes more (which is not "being in the office" time, that's just billable hours, which is not every hour you're there, since you bill in 6 min increments). On the weekends, I bill between 12-15 hours per day, sometimes more. So, I am not so good with math, but it's a lot.

It's miserable. At least I got to get out today when I passed out in the bathroom. THAT showed I was truly sick, I suppose?
