Cavalier hotel price?

I cannot get hold of the catering guy at this hotel, and need to know the price asap :(Was wondering if anyone had got married there and could give me some info?Were looking at a reception of 70 people :)

    I was *this* close to booking that venue - but unfortunately, no response or going back on their offers, was par for the course.  I got out before signing a contract.  I was really sad, because it's a gorgeous venue and we were trying really hard to make it work on our end.  They have a food minimum - the prices were different for summer and winter.  The winter was $7000 and I think the summer was $12000 - the bar was calculated separately and was per drink.

    The food Purchase minimum is $7000 for most of the rooms and if you have it on a sunday-fri you canget 10% off that minimum.

    Hi -- just keep trying to get Rick -- I ended using email instead. He answers my emails within one day.
    We've got the Pocohants Room in the old Cavalier. It is a $4000 food purchase minimum which is fine for 100-110 people. The alcohol comes on top of this of course, but you can limit the bar to wine, beer and few spirits.

    Rick has been great to work with, I live in Norway and he's gone out of his way to ensure that we get a proper Virginia menu.
