Glendalough Manor, Tyron, GA - Your Thoughts?

I'm closing in on a venue for my October 2011 wedding and I am obsessed with Glendalough Manor in Tyrone, GA. Just wondering if you or anyone you know has been married there, I'm in need of some first hand reviews (the good and the bad!). Any words of wisdom on Glendalough would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!!

    It's an awesome place! The staff there is really helpful. I had a friend that got married there, everything went perfectly. Try and see if you can get Jenna as your planner.

    I am not using it, but I did strongly consider it before moving my wedding to Athens... it looks beautiful! I look forward to seeing the pictures if you do decide to use it!

    My friend got married there in August and it is a great place...very beautiful. I loved it. The staff was very professional and everything ran smoothly. She said the same when we discussed it after the wedding. The only thing I'd say is that they had another wedding scheduled just after my friend's so we actually saw the other wedding guests if we went to the bathroom or bar. I even saw the other bride at one point. No one really minded, but my friends said the tight schedule limited their outdoor photos after the ceremony. Just something to think about...

    This is a really distant connection, but someone at my mom's church recommended this place to my mom when they found out I was getting married.  His cousin got married there, and he was raving about how it was a nice wedding and everyone had a great time.  It's not a firsthand rec, but he was very enthusiastic!

    I looked at that place and LOVED it! I just got too worried about the fact that they have MULTIPLE weddings and receptions going on at one time (I think as many as four) that just seemed too risky for me....

    I went to a wedding there this summer and it was very nice. Beautiful decor. Good food. Good drinks. Had a lot of fun! However, there was a quincinera across the hall and all the little kids came over and stole food at the chocolate fountain. So, it was a little awkward with two large events going on, but if you don't mind that, then it is a really nice venue.

    My friend got married there in March. It was beautiful! The grounds are perfect for pictures and the staff were so nice!

    My FI's bestfriend got married there last year October. It was really nice and the staff was friendly, they are somthing to look into
