Awwww lady don't stress out completely. I had my dress fitting today found some earrings, got my custom shoes in the mail, went shopping with my mom and sister and did a trial run for my candy bar. I thought my to do list was shrinking but it is getting larger. We still are not done with the freaking RSVP's and I am working on final payments so i feel you but i am really trying to enjoy this time.
What's left to do for you? Why are you stressing? Lets talk this through date twin I am here to help!

I'm with you - I think my list is getting longer rather than shorter!  We finally tracked down all but 2 of our RSVPs, and we have extra seats so I'm not worried if a handful of extra people show up.

What's really bothering me is that we are so busy at work they are expecting me to work nights and weekends, and I just don't have time to do everything.  Plus I have to take off work to get the marriage license and go see the florist, but since they want me to work 12 hour days it's hard to balance it all!  Most nights this week I've been having wedding nightmares and work nightmares, and I'm not sleeping so great.  This morning I woke up more stressed than when I went to bed, and I even ran yesterday!

    We still have:
-Programs & Menus (they are designed but not printed)
    -Placecards
-Seating cards (different from placecards b/c our seating cards are wrapped into the favors)
-Guestbook (we are doing a thing where people can write us a note instead of a traditional book)
-One more dress fitting (the hem was not straight last time, so we're up to 4 now!)
-Organize decorations to make sure I have enough candles
    -Finalize the timeline
-Select music for the strings trio (they are not making my life easy on that one - the website seems to be down)

We just figured out the bachelorette party last night, which is a relief because the girls had been seriously procrastinating it, and I finally got a call from my MOH asking me to plan the darn thing! lol.  So I figured out a plan and they can figure out all the details and make the dinner reservations.

It sounds like you are plugging along and things are going well for you so far!

Oh NO not work and wedding stresses. When is your last day at? Wow you even have time to run with all this stuff that is good. Yesterday was good today is starting off rough. My bachelorette party is Saturday and I just had to book a room because the plan they had in place needed some tweaking lol. I still have all the things you listed minus the guest book plus NONE of the GM have been fitted for their tuxes NONE and I might even have to replace on of them tonight. Nevertheless we will make it through the next 20 days and the icing on the cake is that we will both be MRS. Positive work vibes and wedding vibes coming your way love and I know you can do it!

Thanks for the good vibes!  I send some back at you.

Get your FI to call of your groomsmen - we had to do that, and all but one are done.  (And my dad, but he has a good excuse!)

I've been running just to keep the stress down, it's a 20 minute cardio interval thing that takes no time and I usually feel so much better afterwards!

I'm glad to know you are in a similar spot to me.....makes me feel less behind!!

Last day of work before the wedding is Sept. 2 - Thank goodness for Labor Day :)

Both dads and the Groom are the only ones that have been fitted. My two ushers are going on Monday and I am going to be stalking the guys myself tomorrow on my lunch break. FI had his chance to get them together now I am on the JOB and I will get it done. I might have to look into that running thing cause right now I am on 20 minute eating intervals and that cant be good LOL!

My last day of work is August 31st and I am done until October 4th fingers crossed so I want to get everything done by labor day weekend so that I can relax and enjoy the week of the wedding!

My flower girl dress just came up with an issue and I just placed an order about 10 minutes ago for my veil and my wedding bracelet so for every check there is a set back but I am refusing to let this get me down.

Thanks for the vibes and we will get thru these next 20 days!

Wow how did you get so much time off of work!? That is amazing.

Good for you for chasing down those guys! That's what you have to do.

Good luck with getting the flower girl dress sorted out....it's all these little details that make it a stressful process.

I managed to get the menus printed today while I was working, so one more check!

    The interval run is:

5 minutes walking (quickly, to get your heart rate up)
10 second sprint (or even faster walking if running is too much)
    50 second walking
Repeat the 10/50 interval 10 times (so a total of 10 minutes of intervals)
    5 minutes cool down walking

You'll burn calories for three days, versus a normal run or walk would burn for 1 day after.  When you combine with weights you'll see a huge difference.  Enjoy :)

I am still waiting to hear back from the Flower girl dress company now that we are 19 days out I need them to send me something else ASAP.

Sounds like a plan I am going to give it a try tonight when I get home. with the weather cooling down in the evenings this sounds like a good things to start. Thanks for sharing!

Congrats on getting the menu cards printed I plan to print menu cards and programs today since I got my specialty paper.

I haven't taken anytime off besides 2 days around my birthday all year so I have been accumulating time and I cant wait to take it. Hopefully I can pull off a honeymoon and really put the time off to use if not I will just be at home looking at the walls not thinking about work which is good for me too :)
