Hi, I'm trying to work out the details on our ceremony (readings, who we should ask to do the readings, are there other roles that are unfamiliar to me, etc), and I have a few questions. I'm not Catholic, FI is, so I'm a little unsure on how many "roles" their are in a Catholic ceremony.
Many people on here have referenced websites that help with the basic questions I have. I know the cathedral will provide us a book with suggestions. But because of timing issues we're not having a meeting with the priest for another month or so and I'd like to ask our VIPs to do readings sooner then later. Do you have any links to suggest to help this novice catholic bride along?
PS I'm trying to learn about the Church along the way, due to personal reason FI and I both agree that I should not convert now, its not in my heart, but I am trying my best to understand and learn ....
Edit* should not*
