Affordable, quality cakes

We are looking to feed 90, and need to find someone who has a good, reasonable cake for less than $400... any one have any suggestions?

    I think most of the fancy bakers start at $6/slice, but you could reach out the Flour Power about their faux gateaux cakes or call Haydels.  Haydel's cakes are around $2/slice.

    We used Royal Cakery for an 80 person cake and it was on the lower end of 300.

    I would look at Gambinos. I got cake for 100 people and the wedding cake was at your budget.

    I didnt even pick them for their cost (although it was a plus). I loved the taste of their cakes!

    We are getting a three tiered cake for 150 people from Haydel's and it's under $400.

    We went with Chez Ru Rene on Jefferson Hwy and got both the wedding cake (3 different fillings, 3 tiers 150 people) and the grooms cake (a replica of fh camaro) 150 people for arour $600 total. The wedding cake is very simple but i think both for aroud $600 is a fabulous price. Not to mention their cakes tasted amazing when we did the tasting.

    We used the sweet life bakery in lakeview. Very good prices and Nikki was great to work with.
