Thank goodness I redid our registry a week ago, because someone bought something on it! I would have hated if someone got us something we didn't really want (I was pressured by the list to put some unnecessary stuff on there.)

But we have like 50 items on there so I need to put more I think.

<div>I'm pretty sure this is proper etiquette. They aren't <em>for</em> the wedding. Some people use the registry for birthdays. You can't use it til you are married sorry! That makes no sense. For the Bridal shower it totally makes sense.</div>

I think so. My Aunt asked my mom about our registry, I'm guessing for Christmas, during Thanksgiving. So she warned me and I went in and fixed some stuff. I can't be sure that it's her, but it's a little exciting! I wasn't expecting it at all, either. Plus the item is on sale right now, which made me pumped.

Oooh question for you...

FI and I have looked at some stuff but have not technically started our registry. I have a feeling it will be a multi-trip event..is it possible to start it but not have it available for people to see right away?

Acoponi, I'm honestly not sure! There might be something in the settings to privatize it. We just kind of did some and then added stuff online.

So now I had to check my registries; a serving dish in our china pattern was bought. I know my mom was at Macys today, but I don't think she'd get that for me. Hmm...

We registered for those too and I want them sooo bad!! Which kind did you get? We went with the copper core. I NEED them. haha

I think as long as you'd be able to replace and send back whatever you got, you can technically use it before the wedding. Some things it would be so much harder to wait and use than others.

Ok you guys talked me into checking mine.... nothing was bought except our crystal salt and pepper shakers from Macy's. Very strange. They were on sale for half price. But it just seems really weird! haha!

I picked the D5 10 piece set; not the copper core, I already got a major side-eye from FMIL when I upgraded to the D5 from the Macy's All-Clad and just didn't think it was worth her judging me. They don't cook so they don't understand. FI and I litterally bought them decent knives for Christmas this year because we can't even cut things when we visit.
