First look and Photo Ideas around the Tremont Grand

We are getting married at the Tremont Grand and I am looking for some cool ideas within walking distance to take photos. Any one have any?

The first thing that comes to mind is to head up the Washington Monument at the square in Mt. Vernon. Very Baltimore, and a pretty spot. Your also not too far from the Inner Harbor, in the other direction, and there's tons of pretty spots there too.

I second the Washtington Monument and the parks around it.  The cobblestone streets, old buildings, etc make for some really neat backdrops.  I see couples taking wedding pictures there often (since there are a few churches close by) and I always think to myself how beautiful they'll turn out.

We had our reception at the Grand, and stayed there the night before and everyone got ready there.  We actually did our blindfold reveal in the Roman Strada Room where our cocktail hour was held.  The beautiful furniture, marble, and mirrors really speak for themselves.

Our wedding day was 97 degrees so we did the vasy majority of our pictures inside.  A lot in entrance to the Grand (Charles Street), on the stairs leading to the first floor from the Corinthian Room, and in the 1st floor women's bathroom... they turned out beautifully and are some of my favorite pictures.  The only outside pictures we took were right in front of the Grand, in front of the trolley.

Make sure to take some pictures on the 4th floor during the reception... beautiful lighting and very romantic.  The Tremont really photographs well.  Which rooms are you using?

But if you want outside pictures I agree the Monument is right up the street.  And actually, the Harbor is within walking distance in the opposite direction.
