Does anyone have recommendations on bakery's for wedding cakes in Charlotte, NC?

    She is awesome.

    Also- on my wedding website I wrote a blog about our experience with her. :) There is also a picture of one of her cakes that is kinda like our inspiration!

    i will second Cake Lady Jill!

    I have only met her once- at our tasting- she is a riot! We are so happy with our selections on design and taste, and can't wait to see the actual cake in May!

    I attended two weddings last year that had Cake Lady Jill cakes, both very different in design than each other and mine- she can do anything! and flavors were yummy too :)

    jill was a little snarky with me.

    I recommend Kathy Allen with Cakes of Distinction.  She's priced the same as Jill but is including (botantically correct) gum paste flowers on my cake! 

    Cheesecake, Etc was the least expensive of those I tried.  I've also heard Tizzerts is good.

    Sinfully Sweet cakes is great, Joyce the owner has been a great family friend for a while and is a good, honest person who will work with what you need. Good Luck!

    I am a wedding coordinator and I use Cheesecakes, etc. Her buttercream frosting is GREAT!
