NWR: Gulf Spill

Don't know if anyone is interested, but I am really considering getting a group of people together and going down to the gulf to help clean the animals affected by the oil spill. I am looking for mid-July. Would anyone be interested in joining?

    I could go late July, but I'll be in CT Mid-July. I'd totally be interested though!

    I am waiting to fill out the volunteer information to see about dates and when everyone interested can do it. I was just looking at pictures, and it disgusted me enough to act. I am a SUCKER for animals, and need to feel like I am doing something...

    Who are you volunteering with?  I can't do July but if I can't find work in August might as well do something else productive!

    I am trying to arrange it through the organization I work for. I was looking to see if there is some interest, and was going to go from there.

    I maybe/might be able to go in mid July.  I have a conference at the end of July so that's out.  What organization do you work for?  If your organization does send a group and needs people with animal experience I can might be able recruit some of the other animal science grad students.

    I really want to go but I'm not sure I can.  Keep me informed and I'll see what I can swing.

    I definitely would if I wasn't getting married at the end of July :)  But I think that is a great idea, and good luck planning it!
