Anyone use...

I'm not having a traditional mandap.  I'm having a mandap made of linens.  To save money, instead of renting out mandap chairs, I was thinking about using the chivari chairs that I'll be using for my reception.  Would it look weird to use chivari chairs instead of mandap chairs in my mandap?

At the time, we used cushioned foot stools instead of Mandap chairs -- we even borrowed them from a temple friend.

I just worry at little that hte chivalri chairs may be too high, but if it's not, then go for it!

Was thinking of using a bench with a gold throw for the bride and groom seating and chivari chairs for the parents of the bride and groom.  Would that work?
