still scared to alter dress at Bridal Garden

So I still have not decided if I am getting my dress altered where I bought it, the Bridal Garden, because I have heard bad reviews about alterations...am I being silly by even listening to reviews or should I listen to them and take my dress to somewhere else? We are getting bridesmaids dresses at a local boutique, The Bridal Suite in Hamilton, will they do a dress from another shop? Or is there anywhere else I can go? Someone said a place called the Fashion Stich..

There have been many positive recommendations on this board for Fashion Stitch in Mt. Laurel, so that is where I will be taking my dress. It will probably be far less expensive to get your dress altered at a seamstress shop rather than from where you bought it.  Good luck.

I am going to take mine to Fashion Stitch as well.  My florist recommended her (in addtion to many brides on here) and said she has seen her do AMAZING things with dresses, at a fraction of the cost.

I got my dress from Bridal Garden and got alterations at Fashion Stitch and Yeon was AMAZING!!!!!!!...My dress was 2 sizes too big and had to be taken apart and it looked amazing and fit me like a glove

Loved Yeon!  My dress needed so many alterations, including turning it into a corset back and she did a fabulous job.

Some bridal salons will atler dresses from other salons but I'd go to Fashion Stitch.  She altered my dress and my mother's and did a phenominal job on both and my dress needed a lot done to it.  GL!

Really? Ok all I want is a hem, for it to fit like a glove, and to me a little tighter around the hips. Ok, I will totally go when my dress comes in...demarcosjd, can you let me know how it goes Saturday?
