What did everyone get accomplished over the weekend? How is everyone feeling about their wedding planning progress? June is going to be here before we know it!

I went through my planning notebook and organized what was in there; updated the checklist and made some notes on what needs to be delivered where and when the week of the wedding.

My parents got the last cases of beer for the reception so all the alcohol has officially been bought.

I am going to UPS this afternoon to get FI's ring, hoping this new size works!

Mailed out the invitations this morning! Asked about hand cancelling and she said it was no problem and they didn't charge me extra, like another poster said they might. Can't wait for the RSVP's! (I will go crazy is no one actually does)

Ash- Hand cancelling is where the post office manually stamps the envelopes instead of sending them through the machines.

Hand cancelling is when the postmaster hand stamps your invitations so they don't go through the machine. Some people on another site I was looking at said that they were indeed not ran through the machine while others said they still were. I figured it wouldn't hurt to see either way.

-Step 1 of invitiation assembly is complete!
-Step 2 is complete for 15 invites
-45 invites are completely assembled and in their envelopes.... 130 to go!

Planned an invitation assembly party for this week (so ready to get this done!)
Reviewed guest list with FMIL and my mom (ended up with 100 more than we were expecting...eek!)
Decided on a day for the GMs to go pick out their suits
Ordered bridal hanger

We got a whole lot done this weekend.

-Took the invitation suite to the print shop
-Met with the florist to pick out flowers
-Picked out our cake and had a tasting (Red velvet was the winner)
-Picked out our entrees and most of our hors d' oeuvres (We still have a few more to decide)
-Hired a DOC
-Hired the saxophone player. He played the song I am walking down the aisle to and I cried so much. It was so beautiful.
-Sprayed some of my Toslby frames

NWR: I made my first Easter dinner for my FFIL, FBIL and my FI and I. It was amazing!

Set up dance lessons for me and FI as well as me and my dad (he is super excited about it). We start next week. I can't wait!

We bought FI's suit and tie for the wedding. He looks so nice in it! He ended up getting another suit because we have three other weddings this year and he didn't want to wear the same one.

Got the invites back from the caligrapher (aka my best friends' mom) and they look so beautiful! I assembled all the invites last night and FI is hopefully going to mail them out today. Trying to explain the hand cancelling thing to him was tough so hopefully he'll remember what to do.

We got the jeans.
We have to get the shirts and one other pair of jeans and we are set!
I chose the processional and recessional music.

I am feeling overwhelmed but its not like I have a ton to do. Vendor meetings are stressing me out the most. lol.

We got our BM dresses. They don't fit two of my sisters; one won't zip all the way and the other is really tight. It's on them to fit in them. We decided were gonna ask my sisters bf to be an usher. We only have one right now and they're serious so it's not like they're gonna break up anytime soon lol. I feel so awkward asking people so I'll probably just text him lol. This means I'll have to redo one page of programs but that's fine because I won't be stressing about ushers anymore. I/my parents have more guests than FI so were not doing bride on one side groom on the other. Anyone else doing this?

I picked up my ring.

And bought FI's ring.

And I made little flags for our cupcakes and bought the stickers and ribbon for our favors.

NWR: I finished step 2 of my taxes, so I can hopefully file them Wednesday or Thursday. I hate this time of year.

Registry stalked and noticed items disappearing. I signed in and noticed a bunch of items were discontinued so updated those.

Made an appointment to meet with the DJ although with my schedule the first available date I have is in May.

Finalized the cake order because I wanted an addition - for my WP gifts for the girls we are doing southern cake pull charms for bracelets they are also receiving. Now I have to decide if we want individual cupcakes or one big cake for everyone.

I also can't believe my ticker says one month +; it's kinda making me nervous!

Had our e-pics friday! Our first dance lesson, was so much fun, another scheduled for Thursday! Received my BM robes in the mail (already have the pearl necklaces for them) and purchased watches for the GMs - only need parent / grandparent gifts now. Finished all invitations sitting in a box waiting to go out next week. On a side note, I was baptized, confirmed and had my first holy communion this weekend! FIs parents through a huge party at there house and of course I was spoiled they can't do anything small! Also made the wine for our favours, so just waiting on e-pics to order labels! Successful weekend

I took our 3 boys and my nephew to get fitting for their tuxes. I was told by one of the employees last week at Mens Wearhouse to get all the guys in early if possible because it's coming up on prom season. I get there and the store manager tells me that because they are so young (3, 9, 11, & 12) that I should of waited for them and to bring them back 2 weeks prior to the wedding to get remeasured, just in case they grow. I wish the other dude would of told me to only get the adults in early (he knew my son was one of the groomsmen when he originally told me this last week).

-Painted some more table frames, easel (for our escort card ribbon board), baskets (for the bathroom), and frames for bathrooms.

Invites are mostly done. I'll finish them up this week and ship them out BY Friday (that's my goal).

Beyond that I worked on some DIY projects with my FI and a BM. Pomanders are now 2/3 the way done. Our chair signs are now about 1/2 way done. Card box about 1/2 way done.

Spoke to our venue coordinator and organized extra space for our wedding. Since this put us over our budget there, I am having to re-organize flowers now.....thinking we might use the BM + my bouquets for some fo the centrepieces to save money and then use similar flowers to make the extra centrepieces......won't be able to speak to the florist until later this week though.

Also, made my personalized hanger last night! SO excited with how it turned out!

We made 62 pies in a jar (favors) on Saturday in an hour and half. I feel like we are pros now as we have definately improved from our first session (20 some in 5 hours!) So we are don't with DIY favors. We are looking into some other favors to buy as well.

Also finished 5 more bouts and have only one left.

I'm hoping to have our invites in the mail sometime this week.

We had our engagement photos taken yesterday. I'm so excited to see them

Last Friday I went to a bridal store with my ony local bridesmaid to get her dress and order a dress for a bridesmaid who lives in Japan. Now all bridesmaids have their dresses ordered and it's such a relief!

I made a master list while I was bored at work today and sent it to FI. Color coded and everything

I've been making appointments like crazy today too, wedding and not wedding related. Feeling pretty accomplished. Just need to keep it up and knock out a diy project or two tonight.
