Can Koozies

Happy Tuesday Ladies!!!

We are ordering Koozies for 1 of our wedding favors they will say "to have and to hold and to keep your beer cold".  We are inviting 350 guest, some of those are kids!  My parents invited all of their cousins which is 80 guest and I dont think half of them will show up because I dont even know some of them.

I want to get the Koozies ordered to get it out of the way and I can have them, so I can check one more thing off my list, how many koozies would you guys order?

We also want to do another favor but dont know what, any ideas?

Re: Can Koozies

  • I know it is fun to get things out of the way, but this is one thing I'd wait on.  Otherwise you'll end up throwing money away by ordering too many if you play it safe or have to order more which runs the risk of being pricey because the quantity may be smaller (many places reduce the unit price as you order more), you may not meet a free shipping quota, and the printer may charge you another setup fee.  If waiting until your RSVP date is too close to get them printed and shipped, maybe move up your date, or order them a couple weeks after your invites go out and you've gotten some no's so you can subtract those from the 350.  You can never count on people not showing up so the only safe bet is to order 350 unfortunately (no way I think everyone would show but that's the safest thing).  Also, if you want to cater to the kids could you say "to keep your drink cold" instead of beer?  Then they could use it for a soda.

I agree with the pp. I would definitely wait until I have closer to the RSVP date. This will help you save money...

I agree, on the money front it makes sense to wait on these
  • I'm gonna agree with the ladies, but can I just say that a friend had koozies as a favor at her wedding and FI was exstatic about them!  It was hilarious, I think he was more excited for the koozie than for the wedding.

  • Where are you ordering them from?

We are planning to do the same thing but i'm not sure a good place to order them from.

  • I work at a huge car dealership, and I am using a lady that we get all of our graphic design things done from.  The reason I want to order now if they are only .49 cents and she is not sure how long that deal is going to be going on.

  • I would just warn that she may be pressuring you because she hears a big sale.  I don't know this lady so don't want to hate on her, but I've had a few people do this to me in regards to wedding stuff (including my dress) and they are normally full of it when they say the item is being discontinued, the sale price won't be around for long, etc.  She probably also knows if she gets the sale now it'll be bigger because you'll overestimate to be safe than if you wait for the actual headcount.  Hate being negative but just something to consider because it happens.

  • Totallyweddingcoozies.com  A local place where I live and they do a great job!  And inexpensive!
