DRESS! Let's share pictures of our wedding gowns and a small story of your experience!

Here's Mine:
(Sorry No pics of me in it)

After so many dresses, I had my heart set on an A-Line sweetheart taffeta gown, but I hated the fabric on me.. So I went home empty handed, but determined to find something!

The next week, David's Bridal came out with a new gown that I spotted online and I just HAD to try it on. After I had DB hunt down this dress to order it for a sample, I got in there to try it on two weeks later. As soon as I put the dress on, I knew it was "the one"!

6 months later, I've been having a bit of dress regret here and there, but I think it's completely normal, and I get over it pretty quickly after I think about how stunning it is! My FI's jaw is going to drop and I can't wait to see his reaction!

I knew I wanted a lace dress but I thought I wanted something more form fitting. Well when I went to try on dresses, my consultant brought this one out and I just knew it was the one. I still tried on a few others after but kept wanting to go back to this one. I love the fit and the lace detailing.

Omg your dresses are so pretty!!! OP I really love the back on yours!
So I went into our local store just to try stuff on and was not at all thinking I would get one! I finally came down to the one I got and another one that i really liked because of the detailing and the back of it was beautiful. But I tried mine back on sat down in it and that was end of story!

I also don't have a picture of me in it because I haven't uploaded it from the camera yet. I tried on a lot of different dresses but kept thinking about this one. I didn't know it was the "one" initally, but I couldn't find anything else that compared.

I don't have a picture of my dress, nor do I think I can find it online!! My dress is an old dress that my sister didn't wear at her wedding (she found the perfect one for her afterwards)!! It happens to fit me like a dream and I haven't found any dresses that I like half as much as that one!! I need to have it shortened, and have a few other alterations done but once I have that done I will post a pick of me in the dress (if Mom doesn't delete it right away!!)!!

I'd rather not post pictures of me in it yet, but here are the links to mine. I originally thought I wanted a mermaid, form-fitting dress because it's smaller and my mom likes me to glam up lol but after trying on some and liking them, I tried on one dress that I had to order on the spot. It was my first dress shop and I was completely satisfied. It is called Anastasia and it's Kenneth Pool by Amsale. I never anticipated being a two dress bride, but since dress 1 is so big and we are having a daytime wedding and possibly after party at the hotel, I decided to go for a fun, short dress 2, which is called Charlie and is by Amsale. It is a little plain so I am having a crystal belt sewn onto it, and I also ordered a thin crystal belt to wear as a headband (I'm most excited about the headband hahaha). Oh and the third link are my shoes...just wanted to throw them in there!

OP did I just see your dress on an episode of Four Weddings recently? If it wasn't the same one it definitely had the same cut outs in the back. Gorgeous!

Here is my dress. I actually havent even had it officially on. The only sample they had was a size 2 and I couldnt fit into it. I tried ona really similar Paloma Blanca style that was the same silhouette but different detailing. I was aprehensive becuse it was never on my body, but I kept thinking about it all the time and when I saw it a 2nd time, I just wanted to take it home with me and live in it- so I knew it was the one.

I was really between sizes so I ended up paying extra to have it fit to my measurements- so I am hoping it fits when it comes in!! It's due in June 1st!!!

& Ajoyd, I'm looking at episode pictures of Four Weddings online and I think Chelsea from Season 2 episode 3 has the same dress I do, but I can't see the whole episdoe to tell for sure.

Ok, so in the link below is my dress and I absolutely love it. My only bit of dress regret is that I feel like I want something a little fuller. When my dress comes in, it's going to be big in the waist and need to be taken in. Do you ladies think that it would look okay with an a line crinoline to give it some fullness??

I would say deffenitely talk to your seamstress about this. That way she can come out and actually show you what the crinoline will look like underneath the skirt for more fullness.

Otherwise I think it will look just fine if you want the fuller look to it. I'm actually having this done to my gown, which is between a trumpet style and an A line.

That's basically what I'm working with. When it fits how it's supposed to, it's more of a trumpet. But when I've tried it on (a couple sizes too big) it fit more like an a line., so I think it's doable. Now I just have to wait the next 3 excrutiatingly long months for it to come in!

I did cry only because when I put it on I could see myself walking down to my FI in this dress. Its just perfect for me. I just know he is going to love it!! Everyones dresses are Beautiful!!! Here is my amazingly perfect princess dress (as my future Mother-in-law would say). Please excuse my face in the first picture. My sister took it just as I started to cry and we all decided this was the one. All of your dresses look beautiful as well.

OP!!! I almost bought your dress! Love, love, love it!

When we got engaged on our two year anniversary (March 6th) I was anxious to look at dresses. The only salon within 100 miles is David's (8 locations within that zone) so I started searching their site. I fell in love with this dress and really didn't love anything else until the VW White collection came out, but unfortunately my David's didn't carry VW. This was the first dress I tried on (and after 8 more) I tried it on last too. I knew it was the one. LOVE!

I go in for my first (of 2) fitting on the 19th. This particular dress is not "mine" as we didn't have a camera the day I picked mine up. This one is way too big. But you get the idea.
