i purchased 4 lbs of jelly babies to fill roughly 80 mini TARDIS boxes. does this sound like enough? unfortunatly i had to have it shipped from canada since they dont make them here so i have no idea how much 4 lbs is...

I've heard for candy buffets to average about a 1/2 lb per person, (if your guests are candy fans), but for little Tardis boxes I'm not sure.

I found this website and used the Hershey kisses in 80 favor boxes calculation to determine you'd need 9lbs. I figured the Jelly babies might be about the same size as the kisses; of course that's if the boxes are 2x2 in size.

You don't have to fill them up 100% either, 3/4 maybe, and then a little card or something on top saying something fun, or with your date or something. If you find out 4 lbs may not be enough. And that's amazing that there's something here in Canada.....I always have to order from the US. Haha.
