Decor and Walking Order

Looking for ideas for outdoor decor to go behind myself and groom. Was thinking of a nice arch but I need some ideas for purple and white. Location is a lush green lawn with a beautiful white resort behind us. Something cheap to DIY or to have made. Maybe something modern instead of a arch. No trees around though to hang stuff on.

Ideas for wedding signs? We are going to include hidden Mickey mouse heads as well on the sign very small as it is a continuing wedding game.

What order do we walk in? Bride and Groom with wedding party...no flower girls and ring bearers. Does my family walk to their seat last? Do my god father and grandfather need boutineers?

I don't have any suggestions for decor, but the tradition for order is that the procession is signaled by the seating of the mothers, groom's mom and then bride's. Usually the groom and groomsmen are already standing at the front with the officiant, but we had my groom seat my mom after his parents sat down and the groomsmen escorted the bridesmaids.

The way I've always seen it done is you start with the bridesmaid that stands furthest from the bride and work your way in to the Maid of Honor. Then the ringbearer and flowergirl (though you're not having them, so you skip that). Then the bride's mother stands up and turns so everyone else knows to do the same for the bride's entrance.

As for bouts, we gave them to all the dads, grandfathers and uncles (as well as corsages for the moms, grandmothers and aunts), but that is entirely a matter of choice. Personally, I like for the VIPs to have flowers.

For order of walking in we had:

    Parents (mine then his)
FG/RB (flower girls did not throw petals)
    GM/G/Officiant came out from side
    BM
    MOH
    FOB & B

Sings-not sure what you mean.  You could do "amanda's and FI's wedding" with arrows pointing in that direction.  Not sure what else you are thinking for with this wedding game.  Actually, I'm curious, what is this game?

Backdrop ideas.  You could rent some birch trees.  That what we did.  They would be white and you could add some flowers on fishing line and wrap them around it.  You could get some PVC pipe and build a back drop.  I'm not one for arches so I wouldn't go with one.

</div><div>The Hidden Mickeys is something you do in Disney. There are Mickey Mouse heads all over the park cleaverly hidded. Since we were engaged there and we love disney we will be putting Mickey's places. For example it would be 3rhinestones together to make a Mickey head in the flowers, a small Mickey head painted on our paper lanterns, Mickey at the buffet table with 3 stacks of plates arranged like the head.
