  You are overthinking this. No one will notice what color the ceremony hall carpet is. Pick whatever colors you like best

  Go with original colors. I couldn't tell you what color the carpet was at my reception. The lights were dimmed, the floor was covered w/tables. I remember it was a dark color though.

  I think our reception floor was some kind of brown tile, but I couldn't pick it out of a lineup. That's how little it matters to your color scheme.

  You're going to lose your mind if you are trying to coordinate that deeply.  Unless you have carpet salesmen attending, nobody will look at the carpet.

  thanks for all the replies i love the original color scheme alot more than purple pink one.this is colors i am going for , ceremony and reception will be in same hall , same color decor/theme
