I am the happiest bride!!!!! Our Wedding & Reception went off perfectly!!!!
We arrived Monday and picked up our sweet ride
we got a mitsubishi spyder eclipse convertible! It was so awesome to drive around with the top down all week! we immediately went to get our Wedding License and pick up the Tuxes at Men's Warehouse. This was our only glitch, because my hubby's and my dad's tux were at 1 location, and the 2 groomsmens were at another location. But that was our fault, we switched locations but didnt check to make sure everyones was switched!
Tuesday was our bachelor/ette parties and they were so much fun!
Wednesday, my hubby checked into the Mandalay Bay Vista Suite. They gave us a strip view and it was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!
Cupkates by Kate delivered beautiful mini cupcakes to us early and they were delicious and really inexpensive!!!! We booked her completely last minute and she was so accomodating and nice!
Then it was time to get ready for the wedding! THE Wedding CHapel was so great, they even called my hubby and told him that I could come as early as 2 hours ahead of the wedding to get ready in the brides room. I ended up getting ready in the suite just because it was easier, but it was awesome that they gave us the option! They let us leave our things in the rooms during the ceremony, we later learned this was because we were the last wedding that night, so we didnt have to worry about any one else coming in. My coordinater was Haben Asghedom, and she was really helpful and so sweet! I cannot remember my officiants name... lol he introduced himself right in the middle of bridal makeup madness... but he was great!!! He even went to the extra trouble to go back and forth between me and my hubby because we couldnt decide if we were saying our own vows. The ceremony was exactly what I wanted, the music we picked was played at the right times.
Our photographer was Sam, and he was GREAT!!! He was really funny and helped keep everyone amused while we were taking pictures. It was also really helpful because he spoke spanish, and some of my inlaws are more comfortable speaking spanish. He took FABULOUS photos, so many that we had a HARD time choosing!
We used Masterpiece Cuisine for our reception food, and everything was delicious! They were on time, very informative, and there was SOOOO much food!!! We had ordered for 50 originally, but only had 30 come to Vegas... even if we had 50 show up, we STILL would have had a TON of food left!!!!!!
The Suite for the reception was probably my favorite part! Although it did get very warm in there with all the guests, but that was something I saw in other brides reviews and went in knowing. The view was beautiful, the sound system was perfect for our Ipod mix. ......only negative we really had, was that we got a noise complaint around 915, but we quieted down some. Everyone left around 1030, and security was coming up to give us our last warning as the last guest walked out LOL. We actually opened the door and he was standing there combing his hair ( I guess preparing himself for business LOL)
anyway we calmed them down by offering the night crew the rest of our food!!!! They called their manager and we explained that we were literally going to end up throwing away enough food to feed a small army, and they sent someone up to get the leftovers! I was happy we didn't have to throw it away, and as the wife of a husband who is a police officer on the night shift, I know that they usually get the shaft as far as dinner, so I'm glad they could take it!!!!
Our photo appointment went great the next day
every picture was great. I would say the only negative, was the cost of everything, we were not prepared for how expensive everything would be, we should have inquired before we got there. We ended up with a good package tho
and the video DVD is so GREAT! totally worth the cost, there were so many little things I didn't see or don't remember, so it's nice having the video to watch!
Our wedding was fabulous and I would recommend every single one of our venders!!!!
