Venue Help

Ok so me and my fiance are on a budget and we are really looking to do something more on the rustic end does anyone know of a barn or something like a barn on long island that can hold at least 225 and is ok with outside caterers and what not?

check out Harbes, Martha Clara Vineyards, and Hallockville. All of these are easily found on Google.

Brentwood Country club allows outside caterers.

no. i dont know that i've ever seen a barn like that. have you googled? what do you mean 'something like a barn'? are you looking for more countryish, or a mansion or a house or what? what's the 'what not' part?

yea were looking for something thats out door and down to earth we are two very laid back girls. If it was up to me I'd go out to a camp ground set up some tents and dance the night away.  :) So I guess you could say something like that if you've ever been to a state park or something and you see the big wooden house but not so much houses and they have a floor just no walls.

the only place that i know of that has one of those covered areas is at sunken meadow beach-their restaurant is right next to it that does do weddings. i'm not sure if that might be what you're looking for but it's partially outside, on the beach, great views and nice food.
have you contacted any of the parks in the area?

  • Check out Bayard Cutting Arberitum. They have a barn next to the river that is really lovely had has that rustic feel you want. I know they do weddings there but I don't know the specifics.
  • Have you lived here long? Not many barns around if u haven't noticed. Maybe upstate.
