wedding cost Atlanta metro area-75 guests

Hello,

My name is Gwen, I am from Paris, I have been living in Atlanta for 3 years now.

I am getting married in July next year and would love to hear about Atlanta wedding cost.

I am not looking for anything over the top.

What is the average price for a wedding in Atlanta, how much should I expect to spend for 75 guests?

I would also love to have any recommendation for venues,vendors....

Thank you ladies

  • What kind of wedding do you want? How simple or elaborate?
  • We are paying 4500 for our wedding. This price includes food, linens, set-up break down, rehearsal space, drinks (alcoholic and non), waiters, a wedding corrdinator (she doesn't plan the wedding but she ensures things are set-up correctly and flow smoothly during the ceremony and reception), etc. Furthermore, on the day of our wedding, the venue is closed (country club type venue) so we won't have to worry about other people being around or coming in and out. It sounds expensive but, it was the cheapest venue we were able to find...several others wanted 7000+ to 10,000 dollars so we feel we got a good deal.

    How many guests?
  • We are inviting 70 and including dress our budget is about $5000. We are doing a lot ourselves and doing inexpensive BBQ but reception/cemony is in Buckhead. My dress is an ivory bridesmaid dress, which saved us tons of money and we bought his suit on sale at Macy's. W are paying for everything in cash and spreading it out over a year, which has really helped. No need to go crazy if you do not want to! Sara
  • blubuilding : Thanks for all your answers, my wedding theme is "tropical white", the main color will be white. I don't necessary need flowers, I like candles better.

We could decorate with flowers but not everywhere. I would like to have a buffet.

My top priority is to have a nice outdoor wedding venue and a ceremony at the same location, our family coming from oversea, I don't want them to have to commute.

I don't want to spend more than $12000 all included (venue, food, decoration, gifts, dress, photographer....)
