I appreciate that independent professionals should be paid well for good work, and it’s not cool to haggle for way less than what someone normally charges. I will still never be able to get my head around the math that someone can make several thousand dollars for 1 day's worth of work. Even if they spend several setting up before hand and several hours editing after the wedding, they are still making more than a doctor or lawyer per hour.
