What song will you/did you use?

What song(s) did you walk down the aisle to? Why did you pick it?

Re: What song will you/did you use?

  • I walked down to the Vitamin String Quartet version of Fix You by Coldplay. I was going to do Bella's Lullaby, but found Fix you instrumental version and fell in love. It may sound silly, but I fell in love with that song while watching You, Me, and Dupree and ever since then I said I wish I could have that song without the words. It's gorgeous.

  • I wanted to walk down the aisle to Faithfully by Journey ( an instrumental version ) but because of a FUBAR situation I walked down to here comes the bride. :( Oh well.
  • I walked down to Apocolyptica's version of Nothing Else Matters. J wanted as much Rock in the ceremony/reception as possible and I fell in love when I heard it.
  • Oh man, I'm gonna sound like a total softy here but I'm planning to walk down the aisle to the instrumental version of Storybook Love from The Princess Bride.
  • I'm not sure. I know what our first song will be but as for down the aisle... not sure. Louis Armstrong, maybe?
  • I have no clue. I should probably get on that......

  • We like, didn't have an aisle and stuff. Honestly if I did have to walk down the aisle I would have no idea what to pick.

  • I don't actually know what Ron ended up playing... but it was pretty!
  • I'm walking down to a song from the NBC soundtrack. The songs are actually really pretty if you take out the words..
  • I'm thinking "Feeling Good" sung by George Michael (listen to it before you judge George lol) or "Something in the way she moves" by the Beatles.
  • I walked down the aisle to bagpipes - it's traditional in my family. The song was "When Pipers Play" - it's an original composition from my piper, but sounds very much like my favorite pipe song "O Waly Waly/Water is Wide." I just love bagpipe music :) It was important for me to incorporate some of my heritage in there too!
  • I can't decide if I want our friend to play guitar or piano for our ceremony, but if we have him play the piano I'm going to walk down to "Sometime's I just Go For It" by The Used, it's a b-side that they never put words to so it's just piano and so beautiful.
