Just starting to look at invitations and was curious as to where you guys got yours.

Our colors are Black with hot pink and silver accents so there are a ton out there just not sure who to go with or places to avoid!

Thanks for any help in advance!

I will be doing them myself (or at least that's the plan so far!) so I'm not too much help.  Sorry!

That's okay! I was thinking about making my own too - however our guest list is pushing 375 and I really honestly don't think I could make all of the invitations and still be sane!

I wish you the best of luck with them and am totally jealous that you are able to do it!

    Good Luck!

I went with this site http://www.vponsale.com/invitations/ and they were wonderful.  You can pretty much customize the colors to whatever you need them to be.  They were very helpful and sent proofs before they finalized my order.  I had a few changes to make after seeing the proofs and they fixed them quickly with no questions asked.

Allison Thompson designed and made our invitations.  She is a very talented graphic designer and has done invitations, programs, etc for our family.

I did my own - I bought DIY kits at Michaels. I made 250. I started early and did a handful each night when I got home from work. It only took me about a week or so to make and then another week to put them together and finally another week to address them and get stamps on them all.

    Good Luck!

I understand, I have about 325 on my guest list! I'm using Becky from Diad Design. Check out her site, she even puts her pricing out there: http://diaddesignco.com/wedding_invitations.html.

I purchased a couple boxes of 50 invites, envelope, rsvp, and RSVP envelope from Target for like $40. We got 3 of those boxes for a total of $120. I just designed things in powerpoint and printed them at home. I also ordered paper from www.paperandmore.com to use for our enclosures (accommodations, directions, etc). Our invites actually included a ribbon at top, so I just punched holes in the enclosures and tied it all together. You never would've known that they didn't come like that.
