Kenosha area venues?

Hi everyone!
I've been having an absolutely terrible time trying to find wedding venues. My problem is, is that my fiance and I grew up in the area, so I've been to weddings at most locations, most multiple times. I can't help but see everyone else's wedding at all the venues, even when I do go look at them completely empty.
Does anyone have suggestions for an offbeat reception location? I've already looked at (and for some, ruled out): Marina Shore building, Kemper Center, all hotels (not really my thing), Italian American Club, Swedish American Club, Parkside, Mosanic Center, Anderson Arts Center, Women's Club, and parks, because of the alcohol rule. I know some allow beer, but, for health reasons, I cannot drink beer.
I've been interested in Strawberry Creek, but I'm afraid of the prices. It seems like they'd be pricey.
I'd like to keep it in Kenosha because our ceremony will be there, and about 3/4 of my guests will be from out of town. I'd like to keep traveling and maps to a minimum.
I know I've not left you guys much to work with, but I'm just curious to see if you've heard of something I have not. All I'm finding online are the typical venues (the ones above).
I'm looking at having between 150-200 guests in the Spring of 2012. Anything you can recommend will be a huge help!
Thanks, everyone!

Have you tried Hawthorne Hollow? It isn't that well known and it is beautiful in the spring! I do engagment shoots all the time there and it is really beautiful - the old school house and the little garden works very well for formals.

We actually already have a ceremony site! I'd like to keep things indoors, if I can, too. I'm so afraid of bad weather, not just for the wedding day, but just in general, haha

Strawberry Creek is beautiful, but, in my opinion, they are shysters.  I do not trust anything that they say.  Worst vendor ever, IMO.

I got a price quote from them today. Their biggest hall only holds 250 people max, and they have a $10,000 minimum to use it. That's a little steep for my budget, but you guys are right, it is an absolutely gorgeous place.

I've also been to weddings at Strawberry Creek and we almost had our reception there, but I would stay away from it if you want. They are super expensive and at the last wedding I attended there the staff was extremely rude. I know you are against hotels, but we are having ours at the Radisson and it is beautiful! They just re-did the whole ballroom and it is by far the nicest of the hotels in the area - plus they have a bar on site for the "after party" if you will.

P.S. the Radisson is $1,000 to rent, $6,000 f&b minimum and the ballroom can fit up to 400 people. If your wedding is "off season" or on a Friday/Sunday they offer discounts too!

I've heard a lot of good things about the Radisson! I probably should check it out. Can't rule out something I've not seen!

We booked Strawberry Creek  after a few friends have had their weedings there. In all of our experiences, they have been exceptional. They tell you 250, but if you put 10 people at a table and have 4 tables on part of the dance floor, they can fit upwards of 350. They are a bit more expensive but you get what you pay for with the exceptional taste of the food and atmosphere and it is a country club so the costs are going to be slightly higher. We are having our ceremony there as well and there is no additional cost for that. They have worked with us regarding costs as well, I do not think they are that out of line, especially for being the type of establishment it is. Check it out and get your own opinion about it. If you are OK with spending the little bit extra, it is DEFINITELY worth it, in my opinion.
