I had an argument with the hotel which is attached to my reception venue. The block of rooms that we reserved are scheduled to be released tomorrow and I was trying to find out who booked and how many credits my mother received back on her credit card. (She had to hold each room with a $50 deposit, but when a room is booked she gets that $50 back.) Well the woman was trying to tell me that the last four digits of the card were 5954, which are the last four of my debit card. I argued that there is no way the rooms are linked to my card, they are linked to my mom's card. I was kind of loud with her insisting that she was wrong.
Then I called my mom and found out she has the same last four digits on her card as mine! We have two different companies for our cards. What are the chances of having the same exact four numbers in the same order? I had to call back the hotel and apologize to them. I felt so bad.
