We went in March and it was kind of cold times (mostly because the ship was going pretty fast and the sea breeze, I guess) but other times when we were stopped, it was really warm.

Also, about the cruise being cheaper, remember to read all th fine print and count for extra expenses, because after the honeymoon, we priced it out and it would have been just as much or a little less to go to an all-inclusive resort. They charged us $140 in tips for the week that was automatically added to our bill. Any type of drink that they brought you, they charged you for it, plus added a tip. If you do any excursions, those are extra, etc. So those type of things really add up.

So if price is a deciding factor for you in picking a cruise, add in those extras before you decide.  :)

I went on a cruise in January 2009 to the Cayman Islands and Cozumel, and the weather was perfect!  It was warm enough to lay by the pool, but not a million degree outside, like in the summer.  It was cooler at night, especially with the wind, but definitely not cold.

We're also thinking of going on a cruise in January for our honeymoon, too. Smile
