beach ceremony ideas

My fiancee and I are planning a very small intimate ceremony with immediate family only (about 10 people) and are looking for a beach to get married on. We are staying in Chatham and are primarily interested in beaches on the Atlantic side with huge waves> we love Eastham, Yarmouth, Brewster, Orleans and the Chatham area. We also need it to be somewhat handicap accessible as my future mother in law has difficulty walking down stairs.

We are getting married on Skaket Beach in Orleans and I am almost positive that there is a handicap accessible ramp to get down to the beach (if you are looking at the water it will be on right).  I believe some people even hold their ceremony right on the deck part of the ramp.

Unfortunately, it's a bayside beach, but it has a beautful sunset and it is a little less crowded and not as known as some of the other Cape beaches. Good luck!

oh and p.s. I am sure you know, but you need a beach permit.  They are $100.

One of my friends recommended a B&B right on the water that does "elopements." It's at Brewester by the Sea. It's for groups from 2-10 people (perfect!). Byron Cain is the owner, and while our wedding was going to be too big to be at his B&B he helped point us toward other venues and ultimately the one we booked. Hopefully this is just what you're looking for! Here's the website: http://www.brewsterbythesea.com/weddings.html

    Good luck!! :)
