Married Bio

....is done! It's in my sig if anyone wants to check it out. I included tons of photos and every vendor review I could think of :)

Re: Married Bio

  • Love it!!  You didn't include a Judge Norman review though!  (She was my officiant too).

    Looks like a terrific wedding!
  • Gorgeous! Looks like a fabulous wedding :)
  • Thank you so much for your reviews!  Your wedding looks like it was AWESOME and is getting me even more excited for my wedding there next year!  It was helpful to hear your thoughts on decorating the place too - I haven't seen the house myself so it's helpful to know it will still look great with minimal decoration!

I was curious what route you took to second line around the Benachi House.  I would like to do a second line as well so any information you have about your second line would be helpful!

  • Love it! Thanks for sharing.

<div>We did not do any decoration inside the house at all,it just wasn't needed. I got the 2 floral arrangements for the ceremony. There are two movable pillars you can use to put them on. You can do your ceremony either on the front porch or in the gallery on the front lawn (the green iron cage looking thing). If you go with the gallery, seating is tricky because of the backdrop and sunlight so we decided for the porch last minute.</div><div>
</div><div>My biggest priority for the back was lighting, I was afraid it would be too dark. I had seen pictures from weddings on their blog where it looked like there was not a ton of light. Our wedding was on a Sunday so we contacted the bride for Saturday and we shared string lights with her. She set them up and let us use them on the condition that we take them down and return them. And the candle decor helped a lot too.</div><div>
</div><div>For our second line, we left the front of the house, went down Espalande, to N Rocheblave, then down a few blocks made another right (not sure which street), and then another right onto N Tonti back up to the house. We had no idea which way to go, the police escort just kept telling us when to turn.</div><div>
