I am getting married August 31st and I am really hoping to think of every aspect before we get to the last week and I am rushing around instead of enjoying my out of town guests my entire family I just feel like if other brides look at my "to get" and "already got" lists it might help.

First everyone should know we're getting married at a Hotel so all of the cake cutters, silverware, plates, toasting flutes, bar and accessories are covered! :

Got Already:
Wedding dress, under garments, veil and shoes Mrs hanger for my dress
My rings and His ring
His tux and all the accessories
Guest book
12 jars to line aisle
Petals for flower girl baskets ordered
Bouquets, Bouts, corsages ordered
Invites out
Pergola
BM and GM attire
DJ

To get:
Candles for ceremony
50 foot aisle runner
Tulle for aisle
Fabric for pergola
Place cards
Programs
GM gifts
BM gifts
Card box
Wedding Cake
Flower girl baskets
Sand
Frames for table numbers
Thankyous

I just look at that list and think "wow that's not a lot" so it makes me doubt myself... Is there anything anyone can think of??

Did you get a wedding photographer? How about an officiant?

Is it too early to get your marriage license? (it might be, depending on where you live)

Yes on the photog, actually I have two because one dropped an "I'm pregnant!" Bomb on me so I got a second to make sure she's not too tired Yes on the Officiant, we met with him this past weekend to go over the ceremony And No on the license, we are waiting a few more weeks, we're still like 50 or 51 days out so we have some time yet : Thank you!! : I did put license on the list just now.

I just made a list last night. Limos/shuttle transportation for older guests Pick out readers Finalize ceremony music and communicate to music director Finalize readings and communicate to church/priest Reception playlists Programs (optional but nice) Escort cards Favors (also optional but most supplies already purchased - just waiting a bit longer to buy chocolates) Figure out votive candle situation for reception Finalize flower order and communicate changes to florist (no bouts now, but more cocktail hour flowers) Assemble restroom amenity baskets and my emergency kit Schedule hair and makeup trials (I know I'm late on this but my stylist is a dear friend and she is taking care of me on this front so I am not too worried) Figure out catering options for bride/groom morning preparation rooms (we are both getting ready at the hotel) Finalize reception catering - we have more people RSVP'd no than expected, so we can now add in a late night snack and more appetizers or better booze.
