Hi, all!!

I am curious if anyone has had a trial with Patricia LeJeune for hair or makeup, and what you thought of her. I've read some mixed reviews in the past... but it was more negative about her showing up late, not about how she did the hair/makeup. I was wondering if that was just a random case, or if other people have had problems with her showing up on time.

Thanks in advance!! If anyone has any hair/makeup recs, I'd love to hear them!

I've heard of hear but can't remember anything about her. I know a lot of the girls on here rave about Meghan Davis.

I spoke with Meghann Davis a couple of weeks ago. She can do both hair and makeup. You go to her for your trial but she comes to you on the day of your wedding.

I used Bobby Pins & Blush for my hair (Sandra) and makeup (Kara). I hadn't heard of them on the boards, but a friend of my SIL uses Kara whenever she has an event to go to and always raved about her.

I LOVED working with them. I normally wear no makeup at all and Kara did a wonderful job of making me look perfect without feeling like I was wearing a ton of stuff. Sandra is very talented as well. I showed her a couple pics and she combined the things I liked from each one perfectly.

Meghann charges 75 bucks for airbrush makeup, and my hair cost $45, but it wasn't an elaborate updo. She charges for the hair based on what you want. I would highly recommend her though, she's very professional and really good at what she does.

how strange that this post about patricia lejeune turned into a post about meghann davis. I was really looking forward to hearing what people had to say about patricia because she was one of my top contenders too. it worries me that you say she has been late. that is enough for me to not book her. I haven't heard any negative reviews about her. do you remember where you heard these reviews?

the work i have seen patricia do has definitely been superior to the work i have seen meghann do. also, kim used michelle hundley and her makeup was very pretty.

spower, evie, and i all used leslie at studio cara for hair and she is amazing. tons of experience and has taught most of the makeup artists in town. good luck!

leslie at studio cara does hair and makeup? does she come to you or do you go to her salon?

she has a hair stylist but she only specializes in makeup. she can come to you, but she also owns her own makeup studio and created her own makeup line that has been featured in Glamour magazine and Lucky magazine and several feature films like Oceans 11! if you do a trial with her and want company, let me know. i LOVE going to makeup trials. i'm a freak, i know! hahaha!

Gorjush did her own makeup. I know some past knotties/friends of my sister who used Patricia Lejeune and their makeup came out fabulous. None of them had anything negative to say about her. I'm actually using Patricia for my hair and makeup.

Sorry girls, I've been sick the last couple of days and couldn't respond. Thanks for all the info. Unfortunately, Patricia was booked on my date.

I haven't called Meghann, but now that PrettyParula posted her number, I will!

There was only one negative comment I heard about PL. And that was at the beginning of 2009... maybe a random, freak occurance? Sounds like others have only heard good things!
