Am I odd that I don't want a bridal shower?

My Aunt is wanting to host my bridal shower as my MOH lives 5 states away to which I am flattered but have MANY issues with.

ISSUE 1: My Aunt is requesting the shower to be held this July. My wedding is the end of October.

ISSUE 2: Over 70% of the women/family/friends invited to the wedding live out of state and I cannot imagine they are going to take a second trip out here just for the shower.

ISSUE 3: Every shower I have been to in the past have been boring (except for the one I hosted) and I am not into wine or lingerie which were some other shower options. 

ISSUE 4: Worried that due to amount of out of state guests, the shower will yield a small turnout.

I WOULD like to do something as my aunt seems hurt that I am not interested in a shower but running out of ideas. Can anyone help?

    It's always okay to decline a shower. But, if your aunt really wants to host an event, possibly you could suggest a simple luncheon. She could do a day or so before the wedding so that more of your guests would be able to attend. Plus, then you'd get out of shower games, etc. If you want to stick to a shower, is there a particular reason she wants to do it in July? Typically they're only a couple months out from the wedding at most. You could always just plan on a small shower, just with the locals. The girls throwing my shower didn't even invite the out of state guests (I certainly didn't expect them to make 2 trips and didn't want to seem gift grabby).
