Has anyone had their reception here?  I would love to get some honest feedback from a bride.  The pictures look great online and the prices look pretty reasonable compared to other DC venues.  It said something on their website about "additional discounts" sometimes being available...does anyone know about this?

    I went to visit it a couple weeks ago and thought it was lovely. Nice potential for outdoor space and very relaxed feel.  The guy who runs it is a total pro.  Great price, thats for sure! 

    Only reason I didn't book it was because I want to do the ceremony and reception in the same place, and it doesn't really work there, because there's really only one main "hall."  I wanted a place where guests would transition from one space to another.

    We got married there.  I highly recommend it.  The space is gorgeous and the staff are pretty easy to work with.  They threw in free chair upgrade for us that would have cost a couple hundred.  Never hurts to ask about a discount.  We actually had both the ceremony & reception in the hall, but we just had people sitting at the table during our 5 minute ceremony.  There was no bridal party or procession or any of that.  No need to flip the room.
