I just posted this on the Raleigh/Durham board!  However, I didn't realize there was a "main" NC knot board.

I hope none of the ladies on here were a victim of the Diamond Bridal fiasco!

Yeah. Im thinking no one has mentioned being involved in that fiasco, as we've all discussed it when the inital investigation started.
I hope the brides involved though were able to get their dresses or their money back. I want to say I heard they were working with designers or something on the problems? Could be wrong.

My dad holds these kinds of auctions.  It's cash only, upfront, so keep that in mind.  The ones I've been to have been pretty informal, could be fun if you fit one of the store samples!

If you want to go, preview is at 8am at the store (1606 N. Market Dr Raleigh) - and auction starting at 10am.  Individuals will have the first chance to buy dresses, then commercial dealers.  If I could fit into a sample size, I'd probably be there.  Great chance to get a Maggie Sottero or other great designer dress for a fantastic deal.  Mind you, I don't believe ANY of those dresses will actually sell for $10 like the article suggests on WRAL.com, but it is worth checking out if you have the time!
