    I was going to use them but was able to peek in on a wedding, it wasn't well organized.  Also another friend went to one recently and said the food was awful!

    Ooh! Oooh! Pick me! I am! Tongue out

    I am in LOVE with this place.
    I saw two other venues prior to going to Monponsett (Lake Pearl Luciano's in Wrentham and Lakeview Pavilion in Foxboro) and, while they were both gorgeous, I was feeling a bit overwhelmed. I went to Monponsett (which was my third choice on paper) and everything finally felt right.

    Amanda and Jen (the coordinators) are phenomenal. They are very easy to relate to and super friendly. From the moment I walked in, they made me feel comfortable and it set a great tone for the tour. And they make themselves so available to questions via phone and email.
    The packages were extremely affordable and quite inclusive. The one I chose includes food, cake, DJ, limo, flowers, invitations, ceremony, and a few more things that I'm sure I'm not thinking of. The other places I looked were considerably more expensive and didn't include much at all.
    Now, if you were curious, this is not actually an Inn (as I discovered). So the closest lodging is about fifteen minutes away. That's not a big issue for me, but I don't know if you have a lot of out-of-towners.
    Getting there is very complicated. I tried to write out directions, and it was a project and a half so I gave up for the time being. Just keep your fingers crossed that everyone has a GPS!
    The view is beautiful. The lake is lovely and the grounds are perfectly manicured. There's some wildlife, which I love. I've only been by three times and I've seen rabbits, chipmunks, ducks, and their trademark swans.
    That's another thing. I hope you like swans. They are Monponsett's mascot, so to speak. The benches are swans, there is a swan stained glass window...they're not overwhelming, but they're there.
    There are two choices for rooms. The smaller one (which I believe accommodates up to 100 people?) has a gorgeous wall of windows overlooking the lake. Unfortunately, I can't cut my list to that, but the main ball room is nothing to sneeze at either.
    I'm at work right now (being very productive, obviously), so I don't have any of the paperwork from there, but if you have any other questions or anything, you can email me at keryn_f@yahoo.com. Hope this helped!

    PS- They're having an open house in November with all of the vendors you can choose from...which is pretty cool. Just something to keep in mind.

    We went there this past weekend and loved it.  We have a couple other places that we are looking at this weekend Indian Pond (which on paper was our favorite until their customer service lacked in not getting back to us for about a week) and bourndale.

    But I def. agree with jen being super friendly and helpful.

    Have you set a date yet?

    We attended a wedding there last October. {my hubby was a groomsmen} The room was huge and the staff really nice. The food was pretty good. I had the chicken, the potatoes were fab. I did see the back room briefly where the bridal party would be I suppose and that was a good size. It was a night wedding so I didn't see the grounds  but I do know there is a pond right there. The owners are crazy nice and put alot of work into running the place well. {My oldest daughter is BFF's with their youngest}
