Cheesecake Wedding cake?

Hi all, I am new to the board. We haven't set a date yet but I am just doing research now for fun. Anyways, FI doesn't really like regular cake and I know for a fact that my family is also not into cake but FI and both familes LOVE cheesecake. I love cheesecake too but I never imagined it being my wedding cake.

The issue is that in our culture elaborate wedding cakes are kind of a big deal since everyone is into beautifuly designed cakes, I just dont know if that is possible with cheesecake?

Has anyone been to a wedding where they served cheesecake? was it decorated beatifully? can it be in 3 tiers!? Any bakeries in the east bay that you know of making cheesecake wedding cakes?!

some people don't have one huge cake, but instead have small cakes on each table. you could probably do that with cheesecake. :)

Check out Elegant Cheesecakes! I tasted samples at a few bridal fairs, they're delicious! Plus as you can see on the website they make all sorts of designs.

My FI and I are having Cheesecakes! We have a co-worker who runs a cheesecake business on the side. She is going to make us the traditional wedding topper out of Cheese cakes then is going to make mini bite size cheese cakes in all the flavors we have picked out so we still get to cut a "cake" but the guests are able to try out all the different flavors and not be stuck with an original cheesecake flavor. If your interested I can give you her contact information.
