NWR: T&Ps Needed

So today Olivia and I had our weekly prenatal doctor's visit, and it was the worst one yet. My blood pressure was high, Olivia's heartrate was high, and Olivia's measuring small.

Until today, my blood pressure had been perfect, Olivia's heartrate had never been an issue, and she had never measured this far behind. The doctors are sending me to hospital on Thursday for a growth ultrasound and some labwork, so I'd appreciate all the thoughts and prayers you wonderful ladies could muster.

I know this post is more fitting for the bump, but I'm closer to you ladies so I hope you don't mind.

    I am not a doctor, so this is solely through my experience working with children and families.  Women tend to get conditions that they don't normally have in their last trimester (high blood pressure, diabetes, anemia). Your body is going through hormonal changes that are foreign. My SIL was admitted to the hospital a few weeks before delivery  due to high blood pressure. They kept a close eye on her and baby turned out fine (Thank God). it is better that your medical  providers be over-cautious, than to miss something that could have put you and your baby in jeopardy. You know you have a sisterhood with us so please keep us informed. I will be praying for you and lil' Olivia.  Heart Symbol- I don't know how to do this on TK.

    My prayers go out to you and Little Livy.

    My blood pressure was high and had been which is why I was induced almost 2 weeks early.

    Oh chickie! Praying for you and lil Peanut! I just hope she was dancing and perfecting her moves which shot your BP up... Sometimes just going to the doctor can shoot it up.

    Just said a prayer for you and Olivia!  I have every confidence that you will be fine and she will be a happy, healthy baby.  Please let us know the outcome after your visit and of course we don't mind you posting this here - this is YOUR HOME!!!

    You and Olivia are in my prayers as well, Reka. Please try not too worry too much because stress is not your friend when pregnant. I know you want what is best for your daughter and what you know in your heart is best for both of you is to HAVE FAITH AND LET GOD BE GOD. He's still got you boo. Take care of yourself and please know that we look for the updates. If you don't post them, we will ask anyway so let us know how things are going. We love you!
