Hi girls, can anyone sugest a reasonably priced seemstress. I also hear either Macys or was it Nordstoms in the mens suit department do a good job and reasonably price on alterations. Anyone used these. Thanks.
I used Margaret Oldfield...she is comes highly recommended and I thought she was reasonably priced. There is also a women in loveland..but i forget her name. Oldfield's number #513-941-1738
I used Cindy Brown (www.cynthiassewing.com). She works out of her home in West Chester and did a great job on my gown. Only negative is that she doesn't do steaming, so I had to take it somewhere else for that.
I'm using Pauline in Loveland. I go today to pick up the dress. She's extremely nice. I like her a lot. She does it out of her home. She has a website. It's called Stitches by Pauline
i adore stitches by pauline. She did all my alteration (and there were a lot) in one shot w/out having to get a second time. And she was quick and reasonable.
Yep I pick up my dress today from Paulines it was great. She cleaned it too because it was wrinkled and I bought it used. It didn't need much done to it but she did a good job. Our daughter is our flower girl and her straps were too far apart and falling off her shoulders and she sewed them and made my sister's breast area tighter because it was loose and we were there for about 20 minutes tops She's great!
