Selling your dress?

There's a weddingbee bride that wants to buy my dress for $1000. I paid about $2000 for my dress. We could use the money and I don't see the need to hang on to it  ( Although, I thought about making a christening gown from it), but part of me can't part with it. What do you girls think?

    Did you think about selling the dress before she made the offer? If you had, I'd say go for it, if not, maybe think a while. Do you have something else from your wedding day you could incorporate into a christening gown, like a veil, hair accessory, or handkerchief?
