Wedding Dress over seas

I am thinking about ordering my wedding dress from China.  I have heard great stories and bad stories, and I know I am taking a little bit of a chance.  I am asking for help from those that have ordered their wedding dress online from China that were pleased by the company.  Im just trying to see which company to go with.

Thanks,

I ordered my dress from overseas.  It fits perfectly.  Unless I lose weight before August I wont have to have it altered.  I was amazed.,  I found a dress exactly like I wanted at David's Bridal but wasnt willing to spen 1800.00 .  I found an almost identical dress for 150.00.  And the seller even put the finishing touches on it I wanted. I would recommend buying online from a credible source.  Look at all the money I saved for the dress of my dreams.

I went to my Ebay and got the sellers name.  He is highly recommended by Ebay ;and the good thing about it is that Ebay has a 100% money back guarentee even if the person you order from messes up. I pasted his name and scores below.   Good Luck

Judiesp...How did you go about ordering the dress you wanted?  Did you send the David's Bridal information and your measurements?  How long did your order take?  Thanks for the info!

OH My,  I am so sorry I havent gotten back to you.  I went to a couple  of bridal boutiques found my dress, researched the style number, name and pictures on Ebay and then went and had my measurements taken, by my mom, but any seamstress or friend can do it for you. The dress sites tell you exactly how and where to measure.  It was so easy.
44 days and counting for me.

Oh and one more thing.....Make sure that you use a "credible" seller on Ebay.  Thats is what Ebay recommends and Ebay guarntees the purchases.

there are much better, more reliable options than ordering a knock off dress from china. buy a dress from a reputable place in the US where you'll at least have some consumer protection laws to rely on. it's not reasonable to think you can get a $5,000 dress for $500. and if the goal is to save money, why risk $500 like that?

there are great budget-friendly dresses out there--vera wang's new dresses at david's bridal comes to mind. also, white house black market, j crew, macy's, bcbg, lord and taylor, nordstrom.

read the recommendations on the attire board--try websites like oncewed, preownedwedding dresses, pearl's place, or even your local consignment shops.

** also, try bridesmaids dresses--for our outdoor wedding, i picked a lightweight bill levkoff bridesmaid dress in white and paid about $200.
