My name is Melissa. I was here several years ago planning our wedding that due to many reasons we had to cancel. Now I am back and our wedding is November 3rd of this year.  Reading all of your posts have really helped me through my planning process. I am super excited.

    We are getting married at our church in Arlington. Then the reception we are having at Joe T's in the La Puertita room.We will have about 80 guests. I absolutely love the way the room looks. I was told it used to be an old church. They have it covered flowers and vines. Here is a picture..


    Believe it or not I still have a ton of things that need to be done. This time around it just means so much to us that we are getting married rather than going over the top with our wedding. We have been together for a LONG time. It's time for us to make it official. LOL

    Welcome and congrats!  Your wedding sounds like it is going to be absolutely beautiful.  I felt like I had a ton of things to do a few months prior as well but it all worked out just fine in the end.  When previous brides say, "don't sweat the small stuff, you (and likely your guests) won't notice it in the end," they are absolutely right!

    Oh man, that room/building looks so pretty! Looks like it's time for me to reconsider Joe T's for our RD! Haha. :) Which church in Arlington? I am from Arlington and I used to attend Trinity FUMC, so I'm just being nosy.
