im having my wedding in Grand Blanc im not from here (he is) and i dont know nothing about anything. so any info can help. DJ, reception halls, food, flowers. also if anyone  is selling anything in this area i will be will to pick up i know there is a trash to treasure board but i can't find anything in this location so any info will help

    Not sure about the others - but if you are looking for a linen company - Affairs to Remember (www.affairstorememberonline.com) has an office in Grand Blanc.  I booked them last night and Iva was super nice!

    There are beautiful parks in Genesee County if you wanted to hanve outdoor ceremony or reception. The Genesys Conference & Banquet Center does excellent receptions with references for all of your necessary vendors. It's not too expensive and they can do all of the catering and beverages for you. Another cool location for an outdoor wedding is the Genesee Belle Cruise. It's a Paddlewheel Riverboat that you can charter for your wedding ceremony or reception, or both! If you haven't gone into surrounding areas yet, check into Fenton and Holly. BOth are very cute smaller towns with lots of charm. The French Laundry would be a great place for a small reception, the Holly Hotel can accomodate huge groups, and Millpond Park has a beautiful handcarved gazebo for a pretty setting. Good luck!

    Crystal Gardens in Clio is where we are having ours. Its affordable and very nice and  so far, I'm very pleased.
    The chapel is being redone due to a fire in october, so everything is going to be brand new, its almost finished and they are also remodeling the reception hall.

    I'm having my reception at the Genesys Conference and Banquet Center.  I have never been to any events there, but I checked out the site and liked it.  They provided me with preferred vendors, so I will be using a lot of them since I am not overly familiar with the area either.  Do you have a ceremony site picked out yet?  I am still working on that!
