Nail color?

So I just got silk nails for the wedding and I'm trying to figure out what color to paint my nails. I'm between french, a light pale pink or nude, or a dark purple. I have fair skin and I am used to wearing a dark purple but I'm not sure if that is appropriate.
One other glitch for the light color is that I have a black nail that has been growing out since December. It is close to the tip but I'm not sure if it will be gone in a month. Right now with the french, you an still see a little bit of the black :(

    I would go with the light pink or french....the little black tip will probably not even show up and I think the dark purple is a bit trendy.

    I think your nail will probably grow out in a month. If it doesn't, can you ask them to paint the tip a little lower in that one nail, so it hides the bruise? I agree that dark purple is a little trendy, but if you are more comfortable with it, or your colors are purple, I say to go for it.

    I agree. I think either the french or light pink. You don't want to look back years from now and think, why did I do dark purple? Plus they may stand out a bit too much in pictures. Especially against a white dress :)
